Here are some testimonials from my clients -
"Coaching with Aparna led to discovering what I truly enjoy doing professionally. She helped me not only see my strengths but also learn to apply them on a regular basis. She is extremely patient and finds the right moments to guide and challenge directly. She is really good at creating a safe space to share. Thank you so much Aparna for working with me."
- Head of Engineering at a Product Consultancy, Bangalore
Coaching with Aparna was very useful for my career. Aparna made me very comfortable that I could open myself on what motivates me, how my past impacts my thinking today. Aparna's listening skills and probing questions for details made me reflect and come up with a solution myself.

- Managing Director, Transportation Manufacturing Company
I connected with Aparna when I relocated to Singapore with my family. I wanted to figure out what I wanted out of my career in this phase of my life. Aparna's methods of asking pertinent questions helped me reign in my thoughts and emerge with more clarity. Aparna does not hand you readymade solutions. Instead, she coaches you through your thought process.
I would highly recommend Aparna to all women and men seeking a mentor coach to help guide, pivot and grow in their professional lives."

FAQs
For many, coaching is a mysterious process. There aren't really opportunities to observe what happens in a coaching session. I've put together answers to some questions you might have. If you have more, please do write in through the contact form in this website.

What is Coaching? The International Coaching Federation (ICF), where I earned my coaching credentials defines coaching as - "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential." Leadership coaching is a one-on-one developmental process aimed at helping leaders improve their skills and performance. A coach works with the leader to identify strengths and weaknesses, set goals, develop action plans, and provide feedback and support to help the leader achieve their full potential.
What happens in a Coaching session? Coaching is usually a process of working with a person 1:1 on a topic of their choosing. The coach doesn't come with any agenda for the sessions. The client or coachee (the person being coached) brings up an issue they would like to discuss. The coach (me), is trained to ask questions so that the client is able to arrive at a new and more acceptable understanding of that situation. This usually happens over a series of 3 to 6 (or more) sessions . Each session typically lasts for about an hour.
What areas can I get coached on? Typically, professionals ask for coaching on - - Developing specific skills, e.g., time management, conflict management, assertiveness etc. - Managing Relationships - Goal clarity - Career Planning - Developing Leadership Presence - Changing certain behaviours based on feedback received Basically, coaching involves dealing with change.
