Aparna brings more than three decades of experience across the corporate world and entrepreneurship to her work as an executive coach and consultant. Her career spans human resources, people management, business ownership, and research — a breadth of vantage points that shapes how she approaches leadership development today.
She began her career at Bharat Electronics and went on to build a 26-year career in Human Resources across Manufacturing, Technology, Pharma, and Engineering, with roles at SKF Bearings, Encore Software, Strides Arcolab, and 3M India Limited, where she led the L&D function at the India and APAC level. Her early years, shaped by a cross-cultural upbringing across India and Europe, gave her a firsthand understanding of what it means to navigate unfamiliar systems and earn belonging — an experience that would later inform her focus on inclusion.
Midway through her corporate career, she became closely attuned to the structural barriers women face in the workplace — through her own experience and that of those around her. She went on to build and lead leadership forums for women, and her initiatives in this space were recognised with several industry awards. Convinced that this work warranted undivided focus, she left a thriving corporate career to pursue it full time, founding her consulting practice to work directly with organisations and leaders on this agenda.
Aparna holds an ICF-PCC coaching credential and now works with leaders — men and women — across sectors including Manufacturing, Technology, Banking, and Financial Services, through executive coaching, facilitation, and organisational learning design. Her approach has been described as one that moves people to genuine thought and action, delivered with rigour as well as care.
Alongside her client work, she conducts research on women professionals and women entrepreneurs, with the aim of building a body of work grounded firmly in the Indian context
